(Short Description)

In a futuristic world ruled by mega corporations, only battling in the Void Arena can provide you with the wealth and freedom you need. Armed with unique weapons and abilities, players must fight their way through this ever-changing arena if they want a chance of survival. 

(Gameplay Summary)

The game play will involve the player being sent to a futuristic arena to battle for survival. This is because in this future world fighting in the “Void Arena” can make you extremely wealthy and the population loves to watch public battles (like the Romans with the colosseum) so the player is sent there to fight and entertain. The player will face multiple waves of robotic and cyborg type enemies. In addition, there will be a feature that allows the arena to change into multiple landscapes which creates a unique experience in every level. When first starting out, the player will only be equipped with basic weapons and abilities. However, as the player progresses, they will unlock more features and abilities.

(Post-Mortem)

Overall, this game was quite a hassle to build. Since we were all working apart it sometimes made it hard to communicate and fix bugs. In addition, we had many compilation errors and rendering issues because Unity sometimes struggles with importing content across multiple devices. One major issue we faced was the pure size of the project. Our level designer made a lot of edits to the lighting and fog features, but he did not optimize them too well which made the project look nice at the cost of rendering speed and stability. Other than that, the project went well and we were able to finish this game just before the due date. We hope you enjoy Void Arena.
